Join us at our 4th Annual Hijab Celebration on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 2:00PM - 4:00PM!!
Being a young Muslim Woman has its trials and tribulations. This Hijab Celebration is not only about the physical hijab, but it’s about reminding young Muslim Women that they are intelligent, beautiful, talented, and everything in between.
This year our main focus will be on SELF-EMPOWERMENT!
As always we end our celebration with delicious homemade food that is kindly prepared by our sisters! If you would like to contribute rice, chicken, meat, salads, desserts, drinks, or anything in between, please let us know by commenting below.
All are welcome!
*Babysitting will be available for children under 5. It will be $2 per child in shaa Allah*
"Remember that by wearing hijab you are not saying to others 'I am Islam', but simply that 'I am a Muslim', meaning - I am someone who is trying to follow this religion, who accepts it as truth, sees beauty in it and hopes to beautify myself with it. I remember a quote attributes to Yusuf Islam: "Islam is not a state of being but it is a process of becoming," - becoming more, becoming better, striving to reach that state of perfect submission and connection with Allah Most High, and May He help all of us achieve that, ameen."
