Programs at the Center

The Murabbi Program is a community-based initiative providing students mentorship through the guidance of the Quran and the teachings of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (saws). Mentors are trusted volunteers from within the community, recognizing and supporting the values needed to properly raise our Muslim children. The Murabbi program meets every Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:00pm. If interested, please register using the following link:

Parents Monthly Newsletter

The Masjid Omar Homework Assistance program is conducted in collaboration with the Muslim Family Services. Volunteers, professionals and  graduate college students, from our community help students of all ages with their schoolwork. Masjid Omar Homework Assistance meets every
Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the second floor classrooms.

Masjid Omar is excited to launch its new Youth Quran Hifth Program with Sheikh Haseeb. Shiekh Haseeb, originally from Afghanistan, is a twenty two-year old Columbus native who memorized the Quran in Madina. This Program will focus on helping youth brothers review and continue their memorization while perfecting proper recitation of the Quran.

Students must between 7-15 years old and must be able to accurately read the Quran with fluency and speed. Each student will have an individual fifteen minute session three times a week with Shiekh Haseeb. 

Every student will be assessed before placement into the program based on their reading level. 

Fees: $40 per month (Siblings or Murabbi program discount applied).

Waivers available if you cannot afford the fee.
